I was just wondering, how you got them to be nice and bright, mine usually turn out dark and dull.

Well, I'm a bit of a Photoshopper - on there you wack up the gradient under Image>Adjustments>Curves (ctrl+m), but on other programs it may be under something different, Brightness and Contrast or similar.

If you let me know what you're using I'll see if I can 'elp.
